Cell Phones

We got our first cell phone several years ago and since then boy have cell phones changed since then. Every couple of years we get one of those free deals if we sign a new contract. Right now we have Nokia phones. I think my favorite phone was the Motorolla that we had a few years ago. Motorolla has some great models out right now that I wouldn't mind having. The Motorola Z3 is really cool. I also like the Motorola KRZR K1. So it will only be a matter of time before I buy a new phone. I am curious to see how much they will change in a year.

Free Fonts

I am one of those people that will spend a large amount of time picking out the right font for various projects. I don't like to have the wrong font for the job. Finding free fonts is not as easy as it sounds. Well it is easy but many of the free font sites have annoying pop up windows or they make the downloading process to complicated. So when I was introduced to urbanfonts.com I was really excited because searching for fonts and downloading them is really easy. If you are looking for new free fonts to download visit urbanfonts.com. By the way they have 8,000 free fonts and dingbats for Windows and Mac.

Have You Heard of This?

Have you heard of a spoof card? Apparently it's a calling card that allows you to change what someone sees on their caller ID display when they get a phone call, record calls and change your voice. Honestly, it sounds a little creepy to me. I don't know why my first thought was that strange perverted people would want to use this but it was. I suppose it could be beneficial to people that aren't strange and perverted. This could be the ultimate prank calling tool. Not sure I understand how it could help the average person.
If you want to check it out go to
SpoofCard.com. They claim this is a totally legal service.

Living Organized

I am attempting to live organized this year. I am ready this book called, Living Organized, by Sandra Felton and it's been very encouraging. I haven't actually gotten to any of the organization advice yet. Most of what I am ready now is insight into why I am a "Messie". I live the book so far and will probably be posting about it more on my SuperMom Life blog.
I am not sure if there is hope for me. I think so as long as I stay focused and take it seriously.

Online Dictionary

If you are looking for an easy to use online dictionary you might want to check out DictionaryOfDefinitions.com. It seems to be a very easy to use simple online dictionary. They are still in the redesigning phase but I think the overall tool is very useful.
The only thing I don't understand is what they mean by elegant. The title header says Dictionary of Definitions - simple- complete- elegant. I am not sure elegant would describe this site but the dictionary itself is useful.

Online Party Bingo

I have never been one of those people really interested in play online games but when I was recently introduced to a website called PartyBingo.com it did interest me a bit. Maybe it's because I now have a lap top that I can use while I am laying in bed is the reason I changed my thinking. On the site is says:
We play bingo and chat 24/7, so there's always something cool happening. So grab a coffee, put your feet up, and enjoy the best bingo online!

For some reason that sound very appealing to me right now. Playing a game with some other people around the world in my PJ's and a cup of coffee. Does this mean I am getting old? Party Bingo is not just for old people, right?

Well, they do have other games I can play if I decide I am too young for Bingo. They have Poker and Backgammon too. So I think one of these days I will check out this site and play a game of something. It does cost money to play though. Not big on spending money to play games at this point in time but you never know how things will be in the future.

Horse Barns

It's no secret that I am a serious horselover. I have mention my two other horse blogs here before that I think you should check out. I love everything about horses and hope one day when I am debt free we can save enough money to buy a nice barn. I love horse barns and if I could do the whole building a house thing again I might have taken off a few square feet and exchanged it for a barn. Right now all we have are corrals with covers but I guess that is better than nothing.
I had hoped my oldest daughter could have enjoyed barn life with her horse but it's not likely a barn will come within the next 5 years and she may be off to college by then. But there is hope for my baby daughter. She is already in love with the horses and I think we will have to get her involved in riding as soon as we can.

I'm Considering

I had a thought and I don't know if it's a good one or not. I thought maybe I would start more blogs just for the purpose of advertising my active blogs. I would post on them 1 a month or something awith real content but include my blog links in the posts. Since link popularity is such an important part of building page rank may this wouldn't be a bad idea. I don't have a budget for advertising so I thought maybe this might help.
I acutally have a blog I started a long time ago and I included a link to my Horse Blog on the only post I posted and it shows up as a site linked to that blog. I thought this was kind of interesting.
Well, we will see what I decide.

Diamonds are a girls best friend... well maybe not.

I do love diamonds. I have talked about them many times before. I didn't used to love diamonds that much but things change after 15 years of marriage. I am not obessed with diamond, I just like them. I would love to have a larger diamond on my wedding ring. It's not that I don't love my ring but I just think I need an upgrade.
I have hinted to my husband before about wanting a new ring on our 20th. I hope he has picked up on the hint. I may have to just tell him because he doesn't pick up on hints that well.
I don't need a huge diamond just a bigger diamond than I have now. The diamond I have now needs a microscope to see it :o). Just kidding it's not that small. I guess with the amount of time I spend posting about my small diamond I ought to include a picture. Maybe next time ;o).
Diamond Jewellery in any form is appealing to me at this point. I have gotten jewellery in a long time. I think the last time I recieved jewellery as a gift was about 10 years ago on Valentines day. I know my husband would like to buy me jewellery but it hasn't been in the budget for many years. Most of my gift requests are things I want and need at the same time. I think many moms can relate to that.

Frozen Horse Picture

I just uploaded the frozen horse pics to my computer so I thought I would post one here. It's very interesting to see your horse with frost all over them. I am sure it is common for people who live in colder climates but for us Californian's it a site to see.

Health Insurance for Pets?

Do your pets have health insurance? If someone said this lets say 10 years ago they would look at you like you were crazy. Actually people may still look you like you crazy if you mention pet health insurance. But the fact is more and more people are getting health insurance for their pets making it not as expensive as it used to be.
The fact is that pets, like people need regular health check ups and treatment for illnesses.
Many of the treatment procedures for pets cost thousands of dollars.
Cancer Treatments: $5,500
Hip Dysplasia: $6,000
Viral Infection: $3,000
Eye Problems: $3,000
Gastro Intestinal Problems: $3,000

A friend of mine had to pay $10,000 for her horses surgery. Horse owners have also seen the benefits of health insurance.
If you love your pets you may want to consider getting health insurance for them. It may save you from having to pay for high cost surgeries or treatments.

FUEL was cool

Our new church service I mention the other day turned out to be great. We had a good group of people attending. I didn't really know what to expect with this new service. I don't think many of us knew what to expect. I wasn't even sure what the service was going to be like even though my husband and one of our good friends were basically leading it.
The music was rockin. Not like your typical church service. The pastor will be leading an open discussion type sermon next week so I think that will be very interesting. I am still working on the FUEL blog but the FUEL myspace is still active.

Amazing Refund: Amazon Price Protection

Amazing Refund is kind of a cool service. Here's out it works:

1. Any product sold by Amazon.co.uk may be ordered through Amazing Refund.
2. If the Amazon.co.uk price of any item you purchase drops within thirty days, you receive email with instructions on claiming a refund for the price difference.
3. All orders are processed by Amazon.co.uk
Amazon.co.uk offers a 30 day price drop guarantee on all items it sells. If the price drops within 30 days of purchase, you are entitled to a refund of the difference. Amazing Refund simplifies the process for you. We check Amazon.co.uk prices daily, and watch for any price drops.

I think this is great service because I am always looking for the best deal. I actually drive myself crazy trying to find the best deal sometimes. I will spend literally hours going over which item has the best price. I usually do find the best deal though. I like the idea of Amazon Refund because I think Amazon already has some of the best deals on the net already. So this will probably be visiting this site next time I shop at Amazon. I will let you know how things go. I will probably post it on my Time To Budget blog.

Sun Glasses

My husband has been in need of a new pair of sun glasses for some time now. I don't even thinks he owns a pair right now. My baby daughter may have destroyed his last pair, not sure :).
Since we don't have loads of money to go sun glasses shopping I have been considering some alternatives. My husband likes the look of the name brand glasses but the prices are not within our budget. So I check out CTS Wholesale Sunglasses to see what they had to offer. The offer glasses that look like the name brands that my husband likes, like Ray-Ban. The Ray-Ban look a likes seem like just like the real thing. The prices for the Ray-Ban look a likes started at $16 which is just about as much as I would pay for a pair of not as stylish glasses at Walmart. As I was visiting the CTSWholesaleSunGlasses.com site my husband was saying "are you going to buy me some glasses?". I told him I was checking it out.
CTS Wholesale Sun Glasses has a nice selection of 2007 sun glasses. If you are in the same situation I am you might want to check them out. If you happen to be one of those people that has gobs of money to spend on sun glasses then you don't have to worry about it I guess :)

Getting Serious About Blogging

I read a post on the ProBloggers blog today that I found very interesting. It’s an inspiring interview with a 12 year old pro blogger. The interview was given by Mike over at the Repliqa blog. David is only twelve years old but he will put most adult bloggers to shame with his $500 a month income.
This boy will put most bloggers (including myself) to shame with his intelligent, witty and informative posts on his blog . I just can't believe he is only 12 years old. He is also a better writer than I am. What’s up with that? Anyway, his story inspired me and confirmed my belief in the potential that blogging has. I believe that blogs are changing the face of the internet, giving individuals a voice and opinion. I suppose this is not news but I am just new on board I guess.
So what do I do now? Go where all bloggers go when they want to become a pro blogger, ProBlogger.net of course. I have decided I am going to really take this blogging thing more seriously. I need to educate myself as much as possible and continue to post like crazy.

Stock Options

I am not one of those that understands much about stock options and things like that but I think it's important to educate yourself before jumping into investing. PowerOptions offers convenience and control. All the online tools you need for a competitive edge. Plus a 14-day free trial, an easy online User Guide, toll-free support, and our PowerOptions Performance Guarantee."

I would be interested to learn more about stock options if I had the money for investing. I am ready for this at this point in time but if you are check out the stock options advice PowerOpt.com has to offer.

Frozen Horses

My horse had frost all over her this morning. It was very neat but I felt bad for her. She had a lot of frost on her main, face and tail. It was cool. I don't think she was all that cold though. She didn't act cold anyway. I took lots of pictures and will have to post them soon. I will probably end up posting them on my horse blog.
I think I might put her blanket on tonight. My poor horse. She looked so pathetic, but cool.

Petite Hands And Feet - Impressional Memories

There are many cool things one the net but I think PetiteHandsAndFeet.com offers a very unique service. Currently based in Huston, Tx Petite Hands and Feet creates keepsakes of your childrens hands and feet impressions.
From what I understand you begin with raw clay and a design of your choice. Your child will of course be needed for this activity. I love this idea. I am one of those moms that absolutely loves to create keepsakes that I can cherish forever. My mother-in-law has made some plaster impressions of my kids hands but they are nothing like what Petite Hands and Feet offers. They actually fire the item making is much more durable then plaster.
I hope they will be offering this service nation wide. I think this would be a great party activity. A party would also be great for those of us that have a hard time finding childcare.
If you happen to live in the Huston area you are in luck. Check out the site and make an appointment. They also have some pictures of the Houston mom favorites. A site work checking out.

Horse Magazines

Now that I am back into horses more than I was before I would love to subscribe to a horse magazine again. I also would enjoy joining a horse book club. I used to get Horse & Rider, Equus, Horse Illustrated and my daughter had Young Rider. I really enjoyed those magazines. I am not sure I can justify spending money on magazines right now but I hope to be able to sometime this year.
I am not sure when but I will subscribe to my horsey mags one day.
I would also enjoy getting gardening and cooking magazines. I don't garden, yet, but I do cook. So we will see.

I am NOT a Busty Woman

I am not a busty woman so speaking from experience here. I am probably the farthest thing from a busty woman but I have friends and relatives that are. One big complaint is that they can't find close that fit properly. Most clothes are either too small in the bust area or too big all around. Some women have average sized bodies but large busts. There is a site that offers clothes for women with this problem. Eris Apparel has clothes that are stylish and will fit nicely.

SuperMom Life

I just created a new blog that may eventually replace Mona's Blog. I title it SuperMom Life because, well, I am supermom. Actually the whole title is SuperMom Life - the secret identity of a supermom. I hope to make this new blog a great place for all supermoms to relate with eachother. I am excited about it and can't wait to start posting. I have so many projects up in the air right now I just hope it all comes together this year and I can just focus on my new created blogs and let that be my only work. I enjoy blogging and I really enjoy blogging and gettting paid. It's fun and easy.

LoudLaunch had just Launched

It's official, today is first day of launch for LoudLaunch. I am of course excited about this because it's yet another avenue for making money online. LoudLauch allows bloggers to be commensated for getting the word out about an advertisers press release and news. As a blogger I finding this type of work very fun. Having the opprotunity to get paid to write about things I enjoy is just wonderful.
LoudLaunch is not only a great opportunity for bloggers but is also a great way for advertisers to build link popularity and word of mouth marketing. Advertisers can start an advertising campaign for as little as $50.
The news of the LoudLauch launch is exciting for both advertiser and blogger. The world of online marketing is changing.

MySpace and Teenagers

Though MySpace is seen as a teenager hangout there are a lot of 30 somethings using joined in this community. I am one of them. I initially started because my husband joined to stay contected with the kids in his youth group. I didn't do much with my account until I found several friends from highschool. It was great finding old friends.
Then my daughter wanted to join. I was worried about it a little but decided to let her since both of her parents have an account and would check up on her regularly. I also have a fe close adult friends that have a watchful eye. Thought I feel she is probably watched over than most teenager I still worry a little about comments and messages sent to her that we don't see.
A PayPerPost advertiser had introduced me to a software program called Spector Pro. Spector Pro is a monitoring software that records kids MySpace activity. This sounds like a great way to keep track of your child's activity. You can see when they update their profile, post pictures or make comments. I guess this is like have a myspace spy. It's a great idea and I think parents should consider using this software.

Dental Work

I think I need to go to the dentist. Actually I know I need to go to the dentist but i don't have dental insurance and I am afraid of what it will cost. I have been putting it off for some time now and I am know I am going to regret waiting so long. My husband may be changing jobs here soon and then we will have dental insurance but I don't know what the policy is for how long I must wait to go to the dentist.
I also don't have a good dentist. Or at least I don't know of one in my area. I am hoping it won't be too difficult to find one when I am ready. I know it's not good to wait but this is just the way things are.

Now I need to go find a good dentist in my area ;)
